Your application will be reviewed by an OCRRA Recycling Specialist. If it is determined that your workplace has met the qualifications for the certification, an appointment will be made to verify the information at a time that is convenient for you. Any business that does not meet the set criteria requirements will receive an email response and be given 90 days to implement the additional recycling initiatives to receive the certification.
  3. Congratulations!  Assuming your on-site verification is a success, you are now ready to be certified and even more importantly, recognized for your recycling practices. Shortly after the on-site verification, you will receive a Blue Ribbon Recycler packet, including certification from OCRRA, electronic version of the Blue Ribbon Recycler logo, and other materials to promote your achievement.  Your workplace will be featured on the OCRRA website and in the Agency’s quarterly newsletter. You'll join a growing number of well known businesses in the community that are great recyclers.
